On behalf of our client, a Cyprus-based, CySEC-regulated investment firm, we are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Compliance Officer to join their team in Limassol.

Operating within the online trading and financial services sector, the company provides clients with access to international financial markets, including stocks and ETFs, while maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance, responsible business practices, and client protection. This full-time position is ideal for compliance professionals looking to build their career within a regulated financial services environment. As a Junior Compliance Officer, you will support the day-to-day compliance function across AML/KYC, regulatory reporting, policy monitoring, and marketing compliance. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will gain valuable exposure to the CySEC regulatory framework while contributing to the company's ongoing compliance and governance objectives.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor day-to-day business activities and maintain internal compliance records, including complaints and conflicts of interest registers.

  • Support AML and KYC procedures by reviewing higher-risk client files and conducting PEP and sanctions screening.

  • Review marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and affiliate content to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Assist with the preparation of documentation for periodic regulatory submissions and compliance reports.

  • Monitor regulatory updates issued by CySEC, ESMA, and other relevant authorities.

  • Support the review and update of internal compliance policies and procedures.

  • Provide general compliance support to management and assist with additional regulatory and administrative tasks.


Position Requirements:

  • CySEC Advanced Certificate and CySEC AML Certificate.

  • University degree, preferably in Law, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in compliance within a CIF or financial services environment.

  • Good understanding of CySEC and EU regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Good knowledge of financial services and financial markets.

  • Excellent written and spoken Greek and English.

  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information.

  • Good communication and organisational skills.

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and digital documentation/reporting systems.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and on-site in Limassol.
