Finance & Accounting Associate
Our client, an innovative and rapidly expanding affiliate marketing and iGaming company, is seeking a Finance & Accounting Associate to join its finance team in Nicosia. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working with financial operations, reporting, tax compliance, and banking processes within an international business environment.

As part of a growing finance department, you will contribute to maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting activities, and ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations across the company group. This position offers the opportunity to develop your expertise in accounting, VAT and tax reporting, financial analysis, and international finance while working closely with the Group Financial Controller in a collaborative and forward-thinking organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage financial transactions and ensure accuracy of incoming and outgoing payments across the company group.
Assist with financial reporting, collections, and invoicing while maintaining organized financial documentation.
Monitor cash flow, reconcile financial records, and maintain accurate payment logs.
Prepare and update monthly VAT and tax reports while keeping informed of regulations across global markets, including the EU and US.
Coordinate with banking institutions for KYC updates and support onboarding of new bank accounts.
Research potential collaborations with financial institutions, including banks and e-money providers.
Support external auditors and advisors by providing financial information and documentation.
Investigate financial variances and provide insights to senior leadership.
Perform additional finance-related duties as required.
Report directly to the Group Financial Controller.
Position Requirements:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
1–3 years of professional experience, preferably within an online-based company.
Experience in International Tax or VAT is considered an advantage.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Fluent English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
Finance & Accounting Associate Benefits:
Monthly fixed salary:
Junior (0–1.5 years): €1,500–€1,800
Experienced (1.5–3+ years): €1,800–€2,500
Mid-year and end-of-year performance bonus.
Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 with flexible hours and a 30-minute break.
Up to 25 days annual leave.
5 days paid sick leave.
