Junior Auditor

Position: Junior Auditor

Location: Nicosia

On behalf of our client, a boutique audit firm that provides a full range of professional services, accounting, audit, tax and advisory, we are looking to hire a Junior Auditor for Nicosia offices.

The Junior Auditor will be responsible for conducting audit engagements, preparing financial statements, performing analytical reviews, and assisting in the completion of audit reports.

Responsibilities:

·         Conduct audit engagements under the supervision of senior auditors.

·         Assist in planning and executing audit procedures for various clients.

·         Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.

·         Perform analytical reviews to identify discrepancies and unusual trends.

·         Document audit findings and prepare supporting workpapers.

·         Assist in the preparation of audit reports and recommendations.

·         Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.

·         Support the team in ad hoc tasks related to audit and assurance services.

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

·         Any relevant accounting certifications (such as LCCI) will be a plus.

·         Excellent Greek and English communication skills.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Proactive, self-motivated attitude and eagerness to learn.

·         Experience in completing audit reports.

·         Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.

·         Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Excel.

·         Pursuing or willing to pursue ACCA qualification.
