On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Accountant to join a growing international financial services firm based in Nicosia. This full-time opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals who are looking to develop their careers within a modern, technology-driven environment while working with both local and international clients.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing VAT submissions, supporting payroll activities, and managing client accounting portfolios using cloud-based accounting software. The role also provides valuable exposure to AI-supported bookkeeping processes and digital accounting technologies, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals who want to build future-ready accounting skills while enjoying flexible working arrangements and ongoing career development.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting records for a portfolio of local and international clients using modern accounting software.

  • Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, receivables, payables, and general ledger balances.

  • Prepare VAT returns and assist with other tax filings and submissions.

  • Support payroll processing and related administrative activities.

  • Communicate with clients and relevant government authorities when required.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial information.


Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • LCCI Higher or an equivalent accounting qualification will be considered an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Good analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

  • Excellent command of both Greek and English.

  • One to three years of relevant accounting experience will be considered an advantage.
