Senior Information Security Specialist

D.E. Lavoro Agency is seeking a Senior Information Security Specialist for an established international company operating within the online trading and financial technology sector in Limassol.

Our client provides advanced trading solutions and financial services across multiple global markets, within a fast-paced and highly regulated environment. The successful candidate will join the IT Infrastructure & Security team and play a key role in strengthening the organisation’s security posture, ensuring compliance, and protecting systems, infrastructure, and data across the business.

This role is ideal for an experienced information security professional with strong knowledge of ISMS ownership, governance, risk management, compliance frameworks, audits, vendor assessments, vulnerability management, and secure infrastructure practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain the organisation’s Information Security Management System (ISMS)

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures

• Maintain the security risk register and define appropriate treatment plans

• Coordinate and support internal and external security audits

• Conduct vendor and third-party security assessments

• Manage and promote the company’s security awareness programme

• Design and maintain secure configurations for email, collaboration, and identity platforms

• Perform root-cause analysis and support post-incident reviews

• Oversee security solutions related to WAF, DDoS protection, and email security

• Manage vulnerability assessments and patch management processes

• Define and maintain security baselines across servers, endpoints, and SaaS environments

• Provide guidance on secure implementations and review infrastructure or system changes

• Ensure security best practices are embedded across projects and operational processes

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field

• Around 4 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Security Engineering

• Strong understanding of security governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks

• Familiarity with standards and frameworks such as GDPR, NIST, CIS, and NIS

• Experience managing multiple projects within a fast-paced environment

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• High attention to detail with strong documentation capabilities

• Professional mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

• Ability to remain structured and composed during incidents, audits, or high-pressure situations

• Strong communication skills with technical teams, management, and external stakeholders

• ISMS ownership and maintenance experience is required

• Strong knowledge of security policies, standards, procedures, and risk registers

• Experience with security audits and vendor security assessments

• Strong experience with vulnerability management, patching, and secure baselines is preferred

• Experience with email security, identity and collaboration security, WAF, DDoS, and protection solutions is a strong advantage
