On behalf of our client, a full member of a Global leading International Accounting and Consulting Groups outside the Big4, we are currently looking for a Semi-Senior Auditor to join their agile team in Limassol.
Responsibilities:
Familiarity and basic understanding of planning and completion sections.
Conducting audits of moderate complexity and risk areas as directed by the team manager and outlined in the planning stage, within the allocated time budget.
Comprehending the objectives and procedures of assigned tasks before beginning work.
Executing and documenting assigned tasks in an organized and timely manner with minimal errors.
Learning from mistakes to prevent recurrence.
Promptly notifying the Audit In-Charge (AIC) of any arising issues and communicating with the client's accounts personnel to resolve identified issues after consulting with the AIC.
Informing the AIC if the time budget for specific tasks is expected to be exceeded and proceeding as instructed by the AIC.
Keeping a list of all outstanding points and discussion points in assigned areas and taking appropriate follow-up action.
Ensuring all assigned tasks are completed and review points are addressed.
Coaching less experienced team members effectively to avoid over-auditing or under-auditing.
Completing performance evaluation forms through self-assessment and discussing them with the reviewer.
Contributing to a positive working environment and assisting other team members when necessary.
Assuming the role of AIC in straightforward audit engagements (refer to AIC role and responsibilities).
Requirements:
ACCA/ACA qualified, or in the final stages of obtaining the qualification.
At least 2-3 years of experience in an audit role, ideally with a medium to large-sized audit firm.
Fluent in both Greek and English, in verbal and written communication.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA standards.
IT literate including familiarity with CaseWare.
Pleasant personality, professionalism, team-oriented, and capable of meeting strict reporting deadlines when necessary.
Ambitious and eager to pursue a career as an auditor, continually expanding knowledge and experience.
