On behalf of our client, a cutting-edge technology online marketing company, we are looking to hire a QA Engineer, in Nicosia/Paphos.
As a QA Engineer, your role is crucial in maintaining the quality standards of our software at every stage of its development. Your duties will include implementing organized testing strategies, working closely with teams across functions, and guaranteeing the release of top-notch products, specifically web applications.
Responsibilities:
Create, implement, and test scenarios to validate software functionality, user-friendliness, performance, and security. Thoroughly documenting and communicating precise test outcomes while taking the lead in addressing identified issues (providing comprehensive information to the engineering team).
Assuming responsibility for approving new code for deployment to live/production environments.
Participating in the formulation of test strategies, plans, and methodologies across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Devising and crafting automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools to streamline the testing process.
Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the integration of quality considerations at every phase of software development.
Evaluating testing procedures and suggesting enhancements, exploring novel testing approaches, and proposing measures to elevate overall software quality.
Requirements:
BA in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of at least 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
Comfortable in using test management software for efficient processes.
Preferred familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
Sound understanding of the Development and Defect Life cycle.
Efficient organizational and time management abilities.
Professional written and verbal communication.
