Experienced Auditor | Nicosia

On behalf of our client, a growing audit services firm, D.E. Lavoro Agency Ltd is recruiting an Experienced Auditor | Nicosia to join their team. The firm provides audit, accounting, tax and advisory services to local and international clients across different industries. The successful candidate will work across the full audit cycle, taking responsibility for assignments from initial planning through to completion and final review.

This Experienced Auditor position offers hands-on involvement with a varied client portfolio and the opportunity to strengthen expertise in IFRS, International Standards on Auditing (ISA), financial reporting and the Cyprus tax and VAT environment. Working closely with clients and the wider engagement team, the Auditor will contribute to accurate, high-quality assignments while developing a broader understanding of the businesses behind each engagement. The role is suited to an audit professional with at least three years of relevant experience who is qualified or currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification. Job Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for audit assignments from initial planning through to completion and final review, in line with applicable International Standards on Auditing.

• Plan and perform audit procedures across a portfolio of local and international clients.

• Prepare and maintain complete, well-organised audit working papers in accordance with professional and regulatory requirements.

• Prepare financial statements and related reporting in accordance with IFRS.

• Perform analytical and substantive audit procedures and follow up on identified matters.

• Communicate with clients and work closely with the wider engagement team throughout the audit process.

• Contribute to delivering accurate, high-quality work within agreed deadlines.

• Support the team with additional audit and assurance activities when required.

Position Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant audit experience, preferably involving active trading or operating entities.

• Good working knowledge of IFRS and ISA requirements.

• Qualified or currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification.

• Experience with CaseWare Working Papers / Audit International.

• Good understanding of the Cyprus tax and VAT environment.

• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data and analysis.

• Comfortable using modern technology and AI-supported tools as part of day-to-day work.

• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the wider business context behind audit engagements.

• High attention to detail and a consistent focus on the quality of client deliverables.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

Experienced Auditor | Nicosia Benefits:

• €24,000–€26,000 gross annual salary.
