On behalf of our client, a full member of a leading global international accounting and consulting group outside the Big Four, D.E. Lavoro Agency is looking for an Audit Assistant Manager to join their agile team in Limassol.


The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of audit clients, support audit planning and execution, supervise junior team members, and contribute to the successful completion of audits in accordance with International Standards on Auditing.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the portfolio of audit clients.

  • Planning, executing, and completing audits successfully in alignment with ISAs.

  • Providing regular updates to the management team on audit status, progress, and completion.

  • Organizing tasks in adherence to reporting deadlines and client communication dynamics.

  • Supporting and supervising junior team members.

  • Demonstrating ambition and a desire to advance as an auditor, continuously enhancing knowledge and expertise.

 

 

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualification, or in the final stages of obtaining the qualification.

  • At least 1-2 years of professional supervising audit experience, preferably with a medium-to-sized audit firm.

  • Fluent in both Greek and English, in verbal and written communication.

  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS and ISA standards.

  • Proficient in computer use, including familiarity with CaseWare.

  • Pleasant personality, professionalism, team-oriented, and capable of meeting strict reporting deadlines when necessary.

  • Ambitious and eager to pursue a career as an auditor, continually expanding knowledge and experience.
