Business Development Manager

On behalf of our client, a global niche affiliate marketing and iGaming company in Cyprus, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their growing team in Limassol, Paphos, or Nicosia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the success of international conferences and events. You will play a key role in expanding the company's global events portfolio while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities for conferences and events.

• Build and maintain relationships with potential attendees, sponsors, exhibitors, and business partners.

• Manage communication with prospects and understand their business needs.

• Arrange and participate in meetings with clients and partners.

• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.

• Research innovative ideas to enhance conferences and event experiences.

• Support the planning, development, and execution of business development initiatives for events.

• Contribute ideas for event concepts, promotional campaigns, and content.

• Collaborate closely with creative, development, and internal teams.

• Represent the company at selected international conferences and industry events when required.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Events, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

• Approximately 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, events, marketing, or a similar commercial role.

• Strong interpersonal, networking, and negotiation skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Commercial awareness with the ability to identify business opportunities.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.

• Calm, solution-oriented approach when handling unexpected situations.

• Excellent written and spoken English and Russian. Additional languages are considered an advantage.

Salary: Junior (0–1.5 years): €1,500–€1,800 | Experienced (1.5–3+ years): €1,800–€3,500
