On behalf of our client, a full member of a Global leading International Accounting and Consulting Groups outside the Big4, we are currently looking for a Tax Assistant to join their agile team in Limassol.
Responsibilities:
Preparing and filing tax returns for both companies and individuals.
Regularly updating the Tax Director on the status, progress, and completion of tasks.
Handling various tax matters, including calculating provisional taxes, managing deemed dividends, and overseeing VAT registrations/deregistration’s.
Completing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
Ensuring all tax and VAT payments are made on time.
Completing and submitting monthly VIES reports.
Requirements:
BA/BSc with a minimum grade of 2:1 or equivalent, ideally in accounting or auditing.
Previous relevant experience is advantageous (1-2 years ideally).
Strong ambition and commitment to begin a career in the firm’s tax department.
Fluent in both Greek and English, in verbal and written communication.
Proficient in computer use.
Pleasant personality, professionalism, and ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
Quick to learn new concepts and skills
