Senior Network Administrator

On behalf of our client, a service provider to the Forex industry, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Administrator who will be responsible for the support of the Group of companies, for Limassol.

The person will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s network infrastructure and server systems.

Responsibilities:

· Design, configure, and maintain the organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and other network infrastructure components.

· Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks (VPNs).

· Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network performance to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.

· Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and operating systems, ensuring proper functionality and performance.

· Manage and administer server virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V and ESXI.

· Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for servers and network infrastructure.

· Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and IT team members regarding network and server-related issues.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Proven experience as a IT System Administrator or a similar role, with a strong understanding of network and server infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance.

· In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and network security concepts.

· Strong experience with server hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and server virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

· Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions and best practices.

· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve network and server-related issues.
