On behalf of our client, within the Fintech industry, we are looking to hire a Junior-mid risk and compliance officer for their brand-new offices in Paphos.
For the specific position you will need to develop and implement an integrated compliance and risk management strategy, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices and regulatory standards. Establish and maintain effective compliance and risk controls, including monitoring, auditing, and reporting mechanisms, to detect and mitigate compliance and operational risks.
Monitoring and assessing compliance and risks.
Creating and implementing AML frameworks, procedures and policies.
Training staff on compliance procedures.
Contribute in the development of strategies for risk management.
Reviewing and auditing the organization’s adherence to compliance procedures.
Establishing and maintaining compliance, risk framework.
Reporting compliance issues and recommending changes.
Overseeing compliance audits and investigations.
Reporting and communication to senior management.
Min. 1 year of proven experience in compliance and risk management (preferably in the payment industry).
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, risk management frameworks, and industry standards applicable to the company's operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex regulatory requirements and operational risks and develop practical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
