Head of RTE

On behalf of our client, a regulated and well-established broker in Barcelona, we are looking to hire Head of RTE, to join a dynamic team.

The role of the Head of Reception, Transmission and Execution of Client Orders (RTE) is essential in the sense that is responsible for the smooth, accurate and continuous trading flow of the company. Another aspect of the role is to take full responsibility of the regulatory reporting required by the Accountants, Internal Auditors and the Regulatory Authority.


· Monitoring the reception and transmission and execution of clients’ orders according to their instructions

· Ensuring always that the execution of client orders is fair, transparent and clear for the client and in full alignment with the Best Execution Policy of the Company

· Monitoring and ensuring the smooth, continuous and accurate operation of the company’s trading systems and MT5 trading platform and export the file from the MT5 Administrator Plug-in with all required settings

· Communication with counterparties (price feeders/liquidity providers and suppliers of technological solutions) for both the resolution of trading issues

· Communication with internal departments for the resolution of trading, technical, platform and system issues

· Keeping up to date with market information, trends in all major currency pairs and major events

· Prepare daily, weekly or monthly reports requested by Accountants, Internal Auditors, Regulator and the Management (Equity Report, Segregated Report, Deposit and Withdrawal Report, History Report)

· Keeping proper records of the daily and monthly reports of the trade orders per platform and per server

· Access and monitoring the trading stations of Liquidity Providers

· Monitor the Bridge system, export required reporting and ensure the settings and configurations are correctly defined

· Monitor the quote levels, time of execution, requotes and connectivity issues for the trading platforms

· Prepare daily Profit and Loss reports

· Provide to the Back Officer reliable data for up-to-date Client List with the relevant trading data

· Report to the Compliance Officer the trading data required, including geographical disbursement of clients, profitability on trades, loosing trades, margin requirements and leverage ratio allocation and inform for any suspicious trading activity

· Calculate monthly the Commission charges by the Liquidity Provider/s and reconcile them with the Bridge reports

· Prepare and deliver on time, the row data trading reports for reconciliation purposes

· Implementing internal policies and procedures

· Assessing, monitoring and managing Risks associated with the Dealing Desk

· Prepare any report required by the Senior Management

· Attend Board Meetings when invited for issues related to the Best Execution Policy and parameters

· Monitor the process of Client Activation and the Deposits/Withdrawals activity

· Monitor the Margin per position for client trades and notify the Risk Manager should there is a Margin requirement for funding to the Liquidity Providers account

· Prepare the trading data for the Reconciliation between the platform Equity Balances against the Bank Balances

· Resolve any possible issues with regards to Requotes, Take Profit and Stop Loss enquiries

· Prepare the row data on Open Orders monthly and execute the Margin per Position exercise for Capital Adequacy purposes

· Ensure that the Tick History and relevant trading data is saved for all available financial instruments and completion of the RTS 27 and RTS 28 form

· Access and monitor the Price aggregator


· BSc or MSc Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Law or related field

· Holder of the Advanced Certificate (Cysec advanced)

· A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position (will be consider an advantage)

· Minimum 2 years of experience in Dealing department of a Forex/CFDs Brokerage Firms

· Excellent communication skills in English

· Experience and knowledge of MT5 /4 manager & client terminal

· Knowledge of MIFIR/EMIR reporting

· Knowledge of Bridge and other relevant Plugins

· Organized person, with attention to detail

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Leadership and problem-solving skills
