On behalf of our client, a steadily growing company in the shipping sector and specifically an International Classification Society company based in Limassol, we are looking to hire an experienced EU-funded programmes Manager.
The role:
The position’s main role is to head the RDI department. As such, the successful candidate shall be able to search, locate, develop and implement new EU and national funded programmes, protocols and/or other calls and opportunities and to oversee the entire process.
Reporting:
The Research and Development Manager has direct access to the Chief Executive Officer(s) and directly reports to him/them.
Major Responsibilities:
Supervise the RDI department.
Observe and target EU and other funding programs for funding opportunities.
Develop winning proposals.
Manage project/ call documentation.
Finding possible consortium meeting call’s requirements.
Communicate with the project stakeholders.
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in the field of engineering and/or science.
At least 3-5 years’ of experience in EU-Funded programmes.
Organizational skills.
Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
Ability to adhere to deadlines.
Fluency in English both written and spoken.
Computer literate.
PhD in relevant field will be considered an advantage.
