Accounting Assistant

On behalf of our client, a service provider to the Forex industry, we are looking to hire an Accounting Assistant who will be responsible for the support of the Group of companies, to join fast growing team based in Limassol, Cyprus.

 

Responsibilities:


·         Ensuring that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner.

·         Verifying and recording the invoices from suppliers.

·         Recording and checking the company bank statements.

·         Directly communicating and paying the suppliers and services providers as required.

·         Checking all the banks balances in a daily basis.

·         Conducting regular bank reconciliation.

·         Recording and filing cash transactions.

·         Collecting all the documents for VAT submission.

·         Providing all kinds of related reports as per management requirements.

·         Monitoring emails related to accounting department.

 

Requirements:


·         Bachelor’s degree in related field or related work experience.

·         Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

·         Good knowledge of English language.

·         Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping related software.

·         Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.

·         Familiarity with basic accounting principles.

·         Professional manners and a strong ethical code.

·         Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.

·         Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
